Key Role:

Provide timely and accurate financial record keeping and reporting as directed by management. Apply advanced consulting skills, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction, and mentor and supervise team members, as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience preparing execution documentation such as MIPR, and LMP

  • Experience preparing PWDs, and financial reporting on daily status of funds (SOF), and financial management and execution

  • Experience with appropriated funding such as OMA, OPA, or RDTE

  • Experience with performing a variety of budgetary functions implementing the organizations budgetary program, policies, and procedures

  • Experience with creating execution documents including Military Interdepartmental Purchase Requests (MIPRs), Procurement Work Directives (PWDs), and funding reports

  • Experience with verifying that obligations and expenditures occur on a timely basis in accordance with the annual work plan and regulatory controls and are within amounts programmed

  • Ability to work with Program Analysts to balance budget and all funding requirements

  • Secret clearance

  • HS Diploma or GED and 11+ years experience with GFEBS or Bachelors degree and 7+ years of experience with GFEBS

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with using accounting software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel

  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively

  • Possession of excellent organizational skills

  • Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective financial report writing 

  • Office 365 certification

  • Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM) by the Army Society of Military Comptrollers ASMC

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $65,400.00 to $149,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
