Job Description
The Opportunity:
The right mixture of great ideas and funding can create powerful change. In a complex organization, allocating funding to where it can be most effective can be a challenge. As a Cost Analyst on our team, you’ll work on a financial management strategy to help an Army client succeed. You’ll work with project management, program analysts, schedulers, task leads, and vendors to build an actionable plan for your client to secure the funding needed to achieve their goals.
The work involves the systematic examination of alternative courses of action in terms of effectiveness and cost to help clarify choices and their implications. You’ll be responsible for establishing working relationships to support and resolve problems and difficulties. You’ll plan, establish, monitor, adjust, and participate in the formulation, presentation, and execution of Project Manager (PM) life cycle program plans for assigned systems and equipment. You’ll perform a broad range of analyses entailing unique problems, creativity, innovative use of techniques, and new technologies, and make sure the funding is used efficiently through consistent tracking and communication with project management, program analyst, schedulers, task leads, and vendors.
This is an opportunity for you to learn the laws, regulations, and policies that will help your client develop well-formed requirements.
