Graphics Specialist, Junior

Key Role:

Produce graphic designs, using a variety of techniques and software, for both print and electronic communications, including promotions, advertisements, and instructional materials, distributed through a variety of media outlets. Apply basic principles, theories, and concepts, limited industry knowledge. Solve routine problems of limited scope and complexity, refer more complex issues to higher levels. Work under direct supervision.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of experience with graphic design

  • Experience with reviewing and synchronizing briefings and other materials that are developed by subordinate agencies to produce a cohesive briefing 

  • Experience with reviewing inputs for consistency of theme, style, and format

  • Experience with producing graphic art and visual materials for promotions, advertisements, films, presentations, packaging, and informative and instructional material through a variety of media outlets, including websites and CD-ROMs

  • Ability to assist in the preparation of briefings, displays, and brochures in presentations and demonstrations

  • Ability to review and implement modifications that subordinate activity, ensure that subordinate agency briefings are consistent with standards and requirements

  • Ability to provide support for the preparation of appropriate literature and the staffing of Visitors Bureaus, when required for the support of major exercises and demonstrations

  • Ability to generate, manipulate, and integrate graphic images, animations, sound, text, and video generated with automated tools into consolidated and seamless multimedia programs

  • Secret clearance

  • HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience working with customers, engineers, programmers, and technicians to troubleshoot and resolve graphics issues

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Office 365 or SharePoint Certification

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $41,200.00 to $84,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
