High Performance Computing Delivery Manager

Key Role:

Oversee the operation of high performance computing (HPC) platforms as key personnel serving as the HPC delivery lead for a national security and technology mission-driven program. Lead and analyzing the day-to-day execution of HPC operations, policies, processes, and support. Provide hands-on management of deliverables, when needed while playing an integral role in guiding the team's success. Create and deliver technical and non-technical reports to client leadership, stakeholders, and subcontractors.

Basic Qualifications:

-3+ years of experience with developing and presenting both verbal and written technical information and presentations to non-technical audiences and clients 

-Experience with providing oversight and leadership for the administration, integration, and maintenance of parallel high performance computing systems, clusters, and other systems and peripherals, including advanced filesystems, enterprise storage systems, visualization environments, or networks

-Experience with accomplishing complex system integration, deployment, and administration projects, system performance analyses, problem resolution, and system security initiatives

-Knowledge of system management strategies, architectural assessments, system tools, and software for the administration of a massively parallel production environment 

-Ability to investigate, analyze, and make recommendations regarding technology improvements, best practices, standardization, scaling, upgrades, and modifications client's HPC services

-Active TS/SCI clearance

-HS diploma or GED and 10+ years of experience with high performance computing clusters or BA or BS degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics and 5+ years of experience with high performance computing clusters

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with enabling and supporting HPC platforms

-Experience with business process streamlining and transformation, including a disciplined approach to digitized services enablement

-Experience with complex problem resolution procedures, testing and evaluation methods, and programming tools

-Experience with ITIL version 3 and above and ITIL-based user support tools

-Knowledge of system performance analysis, tuning, and capacity planning efforts across the enterprise

-Knowledge of high-level programming languages, including C, C++, or Fortran

-Knowledge of one or more scripting languages, including csh, bin, Bash, Awk, perl, and Python
