As a correspondence specialist, you ask questions others don’t. You understand the nuances of complex situations and deadlines. You use your skills to think bigger and push further, solving complex problems. We’re looking for someone like you to help create solutions for missions that keep our nation safe. As a member of our team, you’ll bring your communications and organizational management background to manage the execution of urgent and persistent tasking for senior DoD leadership. You’ll author memos, reconcile information, and manage workflows in multiple task management systems. You’ll also help to analyze existing policies and processes to identify organizational improvements that streamline business operations. You’ll impact the work we do for the defense acquisition community and the solutions we deliver in support of the national defense strategy.

You Have:
5+ years of experience with working for the DoD, Joint Staff (JS), or a Service-level staff office developing executive-level briefings and deliverables
Experience with evaluating and overseeing project execution of near-term, mid-term, and long-term assignments
Ability to support senior executives in task management, compliance reviews of materials, strategic guidance, and the development of reports, information papers, presentation material, talking points, and official correspondence
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience with task management software, including CATMS, and basic DoD staffing coordination processes
Experience with managing policy documents and congressional correspondence
Knowledge of the DoD Manual for Written Material in Correspondence Management
Ability to pay strict attention to details and diligent adherence to deadlines
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills, including editorial skills
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
