Job Description

Remote Work:
Job Number:
Cybersecurity Policy Analyst

The Opportunity:

When our country’s cyber security is on the line, simply reacting is not enough, we need a plan. And when that plan needs to protect our defense infrastructure, we need strategic policy development. That’s why we need you, a cybersecurity policy specialist with the expertise required to analyze the policies that determine our cyber resilience.

As a cyber strategic planning and policy development consultant on our team, you’ll lead the assessment of the DoD's cyber policies, the coverage of those policies, and areas of risk. You’ll evaluate how policies stack up to regulations, best practices, and industry standards. As you guide your client through understanding acceptable risk and availability, you’ll advance the development of a strategic cyber roadmap. You’ll work in a consultative role to ensure the client operates securely as they navigate an evolving IT environment. Join us as we protect our nation's critical infrastructure through strategic cyber policy. Serve as a cybersecurity subject matter expert. Support program deliverables, overall implementation efforts, and associated working group activities. Work in both a team setting and independently as required.

Join us. The world can’t wait.

You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience working in a professional environment
  • Experience as a DoD action officer or cybersecurity policy analyst

  • Experience providing database admin support, including creating and maintaining user accounts, providing user support, prioritizing requirements backlog, developing data, workflow, and system requirements, and conducting new user training
  • Knowledge of defense industrial base (DIB) cybersecurity programs, standards, processes, and practices, including NIST SP 800-171 or NIST SP 800-53, FedRAMP, and DFARS 252.204-7012, and contractual requirements
  • Knowledge of DoD acquisition lifecycle and DoD contracting processes
  • Ability to timely manage, execute, and track program office tasks to required deadlines and perform administrative duties, as directed
  • Ability to support multiple working groups and engage internal and external stakeholders
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have:
