IT Portfolio Lead

The Opportunity:
An effective project manager who oversees a portfolio or IT project is passionate about guiding the projects through the complexities of their life cycle. It requires someone who is dedicated to identifying challenges, mitigating risks, and supporting a team with vision and focus. That’s why we need you, a seasoned project manager who has overseen multiple projects in a portfolio at once within a large IT program and can ensure our federal grants management systems achieve success.

As a lead project manager on our team, you’ll design, implement, and maintain impactful programs by guiding IT system modernization for grants management applications. The client will trust you to organize and coordinate program objectives, while your team will look to you for direction as they navigate requirements, budget constraints, and staffing challenges. As an authority in the civil account, you’ll identify opportunities to grow the business by supporting your client’s mission. You’ll also broaden your expertise in problem management, strategic planning, reviewing contracts, and more. You Have:

·       8+ years of experience as a project manager supporting federal grants management applications

·       6+ years of experience with managing mission-critical programs involving multiple projects and groups of personnel at multiple locations

·       Experience with overseeing the success of a portfolio of many projects, including the project budget, personnel, and production standards

·       Experience with managing tiger teams during production issues

·       Knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)

·       Ability to articulate clearly to management the status of issues, root cause, next step resolution, and close out of any issues

·       Ability to anticipate, mitigate, and resolve risks and conflicts across workgroups

·       Ability to obtain a security clearance

·       Bachelor’s degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $93,300.00 to $212,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
