Software Solutions Architect, Lead

Key Role:

Lead and coach on the definition of software architecture, including the development and implementation of effective software administration processes for all platforms. Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts and contribute to the development of new principles and concepts. Work on unusually complex problems and provide highly innovative solutions. Operate with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision and mentor or supervise employees in both firm and technical competencies.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with software development

  • Experience with developing software applications supporting data visualization or data analytics supporting IC or DoD clients

  • Experience with leading teams to deconstruct large software project requirements, establish Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), and coordinate project deliverables on time and within budget

  • Experience with working directly with government clients to understand requirements and effectively communicate complex concepts

  • Experience with object-oriented programming languages, including Java

  • Experience with data analysis using Python or R

  • Knowledge of data architecture, data transformation, and data analytics application using leading software technologies

  • Ability to lead teams, manage daily day-to-day software delivery tasks, and manage fast-paced delivery using Agile software methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with writing proposal content and winning new client business in areas of technology and innovation

  • Knowledge of building greenfield projects and working through user requirements to build capabilities from scratch

  • Knowledge of building and deploying software in a cloud environment using C2S or other cloud provider to the IC or DoD
