Your ability to translate real-world needs into technical specifications makes you an integral part of delivering a customer-focused engineering solution.

In this role you will bring in-depth understanding and expertise to one or more aspects of service or joint missions and processes. You’ll develop innovative solutions to complex problems and serve as a risk mitigation action officer to a DoD senior executive responsible for cyber acquisition portfolios and capability development. You’ll lead a mission focused cyber hardening team to coordinate support for service wide cyber risk mitigations for critical missions and weapon systems. You’ll lead collaborative teams and develop and coordinate staffing packages for senior leadership and departmental requirements to task actions to services and combatant commanders.

You Have: 

  • Experience with leading teams to meet timelines and deliverables

  • Experience with coordinating and leading meetings, both pre-planned and short notice

  • Experience with tasking systems, such as Correspondence and Task Management System (CATMS)

  • Knowledge of existing DoD or interagency cyber policies, strategies, and cybersecurity trends and key issues, such as offensive/defensive operations, Zero Trust, defense industrial base, weapons systems cybersecurity, and critical infrastructure

  • Ability to evaluate policy recommendations for senior DoD and leadership members

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have: 

  • Experience supporting policy development, legislative affairs or strategic communications for a JS or Service HQ staff office

  • Experience with DoD acquisition policy

  • Experience with the DoD acquisition and budgetary process

  • Experience with the DoD DOTMLPF-P process

  • Knowledge of JCIDS and PPBE processes Experience with using outlook calendar function for complex scheduling actions

  • Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Bachelor’s degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
