Subcontract Administrator, Lead

Key Role:

Manage a team of subcontracts professionals providing full life cycle subcontracts administration support on prime contracts with DoD agencies and provide subcontracts administration support for a portfolio of subcontracts and proposals. Assist with providing expert advice and counsel to senior leaders and program leadership on subcontracts related matters. Analyze, negotiate, and administer highly complex and relatively high-risk subcontracts for the firm, including ensuring compliance with supplier, cost, schedule, legal, and performance aspects. Select qualified suppliers and manufacturers and develop new supply sources where current suppliers are inadequate. Solicit and evaluate proposals or quotations from suppliers and negotiate prices and terms to achieve optimum results for the firm. Plan and conduct major subcontract negotiations. Prepare contractual documents and amendments.

Basic Qualifications:

-8+ years of experience in procurement and subcontract administration with contractors supporting federal contracts
-Experience with various types of contracts, including FFP, FFPLOE, CPFF Term and LOE, T&M, and various IDIQ types

-Experience with negotiating complex subcontract terms and conditions and non-disclosure and teaming agreements successfully

-Experience with government subcontract file documentation, CPSR requirements, and the proposal process for federal acquisitions

-Experience in a high-volume subcontract administration environment

-Experience with managing and developing staff

-Knowledge of government subcontract administration and proposal support, including CPSR requirements and corporate compliance

-Knowledge of federal acquisition regulations (FARs), GSA schedules, GWACs, and IDIQ vehicles

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree or 12+ years of experience with subcontracts or contracts in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree
