Strategic Communications and Defense Research Analyst, Junior

Key Role:
Work independently or with minimal guidance to create, design, and write complex publications and materials, communications, newsletters, bulletins, and informational materials for clients. Interview subject matter experts, develop messages, create branding, and assist with establishing standards. Research DoD and Headquarters Air Force policy and program subject matter to develop required communications content and materials that are tailored to specific government audiences, including official e-mail, key messages, articles, and talking points. Support the client mission by applying expertise in problem-solving and entrepreneurial work, including ensuring the delivery of assigned tasks on time with excellent quality standards. Author highly distilled and high-fidelity publications and technical reports that inform headquarters decision making processes.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with supporting general or flag officers or senior executive service members at DoD, Military Department headquarters staff, and interagency teams

-Experience with communications, marketing, change communications, public relations, or digital strategy

-Knowledge of strategic communications and policy writing for DoD or Headquarters Air Force organizations, functions, and staff processes, including organizations, roles, and missions

-Ability to interface effectively with all levels of the company and client

-Ability to work independently and in teams

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree
