Job Description
Key Role:
Maintain responsibility for all ISSO duties in support of Information Systems, CSS Risk Management Framework, IC Directive, 503 Practitioners manual and the Committee on National Security Systems Instruction, and 1253 security controls. Serve as an advisor on all matters, technical and otherwise. Assist in the evaluation of security solutions to ensure they meet security requirements for processing classified information and assist with the CM for information system security software, hardware, and firmware. Assist with preparation and maintenance of documentation and maintain records on workstations, servers, routers, firewalls, intelligent hubs, network switches, including system upgrades. Work in coordination with the System Owner and responsible for all continuous monitoring and ensure systems are compliant with Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts and Intelligence Community Vulnerability Management. Ensure remediation actions based on the results of CM activities, assessment of risk, and outstanding items in the POA&M are implemented, also work successfully in a team environment.
Basic Qualifications:
4+ years of experience as an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO)
Experience with security tools
Experience with hardware and software security implementation
Experience with communication protocols
Experience with encryption techniques and tools
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
Bachelor's degree
CISSP Certification
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
