RF Engineer

The Challenge:

What if you could use your engineering skills to transform the DoD? As an electrical engineer, you understand the power behind complex systems. That knowledge is key when it comes to researching and designing the next generation of Radio Frequency (RF) survey tools. We’re looking for an electrical engineer who can use their skills to advance the state-of-the-art in RF signal analysis technology and develop novel methods to improve RF flow.

Our team supports research into High Performance Computing (HPC) architecture and data analytics, including modeling and simulation of HPC components, such as CPU, memory, power, and development of highly intensive data analytic algorithms, machine learning, and data visualization. That’s why we need you, an electrical engineer, who specializes in RF signals and Software Defined Radio (SDR), to help us research, design, and develop tools and techniques for analyzing RF signals through machine learning techniques. You’ll support the principal investigator develop a RF survey tool and enhance the RF flow that interfaces the machine learning model. You’ll directly impact the intelligence community (IC) and DoD by advancing the state-of-the-art in software defined radio, RF signal analysis, and machine learning techniques. We’ll look to you to share your electrical engineering expertise through leadership and mentoring junior staff. This is a chance to use your experience-based knowledge in RF signals, SDR, and Digital Signal Processing (DSP) while broadening your skillset into areas like artificial intelligence and machine learning and software development. Join us and take on exciting challenges in research and national defense as we advance the world understanding and knowledge of communications and signal analysis.

Empower change with us.

You Have:

-Experience with SDR

-Experience with GNU Radio

-Experience with programming in Python

-Experience with digital signal processing

-TS/SCI clearance

-MA or MS degree in EE with an RF emphasis or 8 years of experience with RF engineering and analysis

Nice If You Have:

-Experience with C++ and Java

-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

Clearance:
