Advanced Cyber Threat Capability Analyst

The Opportunity: 

This is an opportunity to use your research and analysis abilities to adequately assess and inform operators, senior leadership, and commanders on dynamic adversarial tactics, techniques, and procedures for Joint Staff. Your role will be vital in the development of operations plans to support command and control. If you want to be in the fight, working shoulder to shoulder with national defense influencing the most critical global cyber missions, this is the opportunity for you.

In this role, you’ll perform advanced analysis of the DoD’s defensive cyberspace capabilities, strategies, and policies. You will provide analysis of cyber threats, develop briefings and reports to distribute, and aid in information sharing and protection efforts among senior government members and Combatant Commands. You’ll develop and maintain subject matter expertise of defensive cyber capabilities, policy, and strategies. You will perform advanced research into threat actors and adversary capabilities. You’ll develop custom threat intelligence reports to assist ongoing mission efforts.

You Have:   

  • 12+ years of experience with Information Technology

  • Experience with military and cyber threat operations

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • Associate’s degree and 14+ years of experience with Cyberthreat information, or Bachelor's degree in IT or Business and 8+ years of experience with Cyberthreat information

  • Ability to obtain an IAT L3 Certification within 6 months of start date including CAP, CASP+ CE, CISM, CISSP, CISA, GCED, GSLC, or GCIH Certification

Nice If You Have:   

  • Experience in the Joint Staff or U.S. Military Staff

  • Experience with using Microsoft Office products

  • Knowledge of Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System

  • Requirements Certification

  • CAP, CASP+ CE, CISM, CISSP, CISA, GCED, GSLC, or GCIH Certification

  • Completion of DAU Training, including Acquisition

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,400.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
