The Opportunity:
This is an opportunity to work on exciting innovation projects with the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). DARPA has a 65-year track record of bringing some of the top technical innovations to the world, including the internet, GPS, self-driving cars, and LEDs. DARPA has a $4.2B annual budget to drive technology innovation. In your role, you will be part of an elite team, working with some of the most brilliant DARPA Program Managers (PMs) and DARPA-funded researchers, as well as world class commercial advisors, venture, and private investors, on behalf of the Director’s Office (DIRO). Your objective will be to accelerate the commercialization of some of the most important technologies to advance DARPA’s mission - to pose and prevent technological surprise. As a Startup Business and Financial Analyst, you will be working as part of an exciting team in a fast-paced professional services environment. You will develop, design, and maintain high end financial models to assist Government leaders in commercializing transformative technologies. Your deep understanding of financial models will enable you to analyze, summarize, and communicate the business and financial content of financial investors for Department of Defense science and engineer “lay” audiences quickly and effectively.
You will develop, automate, and integrate data records, including CSV, pivot, and other data files to improve data consistency, and develop data sharing systems for review and analysis with other Government partners. You will also have staff leadership opportunities, training new team members on data quality assurance and other related data processes. provide business and financial analysis modeling for deals to commercialize transformative technologies. Your work will spur both economic and national security, helping commercialize DARPA technology and avoid problematic foreign investment in U.S. developed technologies, as well as societal impact. You Have:
3+ years of experience working in a venture backed, start-up, building and deploying business and financial model for a variety of customers and investors
3+ years of experience working as a business and financial analyst in a top Accelerator or Venture Fund
3+ years of experience with BI tool such as Tableau for building, maintaining, and providing dashboards
3+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel functions such as macros and pivot tables
3+ years of experience with data source identification, analysis, extracting, manipulation, and compilation
Ability to be a self-starter and work successfully in a fast-paced environment
Ability to take the lead and provide support as a member of a complex, fast-paced, and cross-disciplinary team
Ability to be team-oriented, service-based mind-set, and know the entrepreneurial community with diverse technical and business backgrounds and expertise
Secret clearance
Master's degree in Business Administration

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $65,300.00 to $149,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
