Job Description
Key Role:
Assists in the design, definition, development, and testing of Cloud solution components. Serves as a liaison between clients and developers to ensure that all infrastructure requirements are met. Applies leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts, contributes to the development of new principles and concepts. Works on unusually complex problems and provides highly innovative solutions. Operates with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision, mentors or supervises employees in both firm and technical competencies.
Basic Qualifications:
7+ years of experience with supporting DoD and AF clients
7+ years of experience with data management, infrastructure, software, Cloud migration, integration, and hosting, and designing, implementing, or consulting with distributed applications
Experience with implementing security policies, developing cybersecurity strategies, and maintaining Cloud security levels and architectures
Experience with client management, including executing projects on time
Ability to manage and work with distributed teams, including managing and leading employees
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree
Cloud System Administration or Cloud Engineering certification, including CompTIA Cloud+ or AWS SysOps Administrator - Associate certification

Additional Qualifications:
Experience with multiple operating systems, including UNIX, Linux, and Windows 2008 and 2012
Experience with multi-threaded, Big Data, and distributive Cloud architectures and frameworks
Experience with AWS EC2, Network, ELB, and S3
Experience with building, delivering, and managing Cloud IaaS environments using IaaS platforms, including Amazon Web Services and Infrastructure as Code
Possession of excellent leadership skills, for consensus building and mentoring
Master's degree in CS or Engineering
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $106,200.00 to $242,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
