Continuous Monitoring Requirements Analyst, Mid

Key Role:

Support a team of Cybersecurity professionals and leverage expertise in the planning, development, coordination, implementation, and execution of a continuous monitoring program in a DoD organization. Assist with collecting, documenting, and prioritizing requirements to create and refine continuous monitoring capabilities. Balance competing interests to achieve consensus on requirements and ensure continued progress toward defined objectives. Assist with communicating and clarifying requirements throughout the development and refinement of automated solutions. Validate the behavior of automated assessments to ensure implementers have adhered to the requirements. Perform some manual data aggregation and normalization tasks until automated solutions are developed. Build and maintain thorough documentation on continuous monitoring assessments and procedures. Facilitate continuous improvement by accepting, assessing, and addressing feedback from diverse stakeholders. Recommend new capabilities and efforts to improve the effectiveness of the continuous monitoring program.

Basic Qualifications:

-Knowledge of the NIST RMF process

-Knowledge of NIST 800-53 control structure

-Knowledge of DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)

-Knowledge of risk analysis methods

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

-DoD 8140 or 8570 IAM I Certification

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with Splunk preferred

-Ability to display mathematics capabilities preferred

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
