Job Number:
Data Management Professional, Mid

The Opportunity:

For an organization to transform in today’s digital world, it needs to properly collect, store, and organize its data. Effective data management can enable more efficient operations, provide data driven insights for tactical and strategic advantage, and harness the power of data for business planning and execution. As a data architect, you know how to apply your creative-thinking and analytical mindset to help organizations manage their data assets. We’re looking for an experienced data architect like you to deliver leading-edge solutions for the United States Department of Defense.

As a data architect on our Enterprise Data Management team, you’ll use your extensive technical expertise to design data architecture solutions for a broad spectrum of data management functions, including data quality, data governance, and metadata design as well as big data analytics. You’ll resolve routine data quality and data architecture issues in collaboration with business analysts and technology teams by applying your expertise and analytic skills to develop recommendations for solutions in coordination with a data governance council.

In this role, you’ll grow your technical expertise, apply best practices, and use tools like Erwin Data Modeler, Cameo Magic Draw, Collibra Data Governance, Collibra Data Catalog, JIRA, and Confluence to design data models, design data warehouses, manage data policies, procedures, and standards, and build and maintain a knowledge base of data assets. You’ll guide your team as it designs, defines, develops, and tests cloud solution components, and you’ll serve as a liaison between clients and developers to ensure that data-centric requirements are met, and solutions are delivered.

With your drive to establish processes and lead technological innovation, you’ll make a lasting impact on national security.

Join us. The world can’t wait.
