Job Description
Key Role:
Provide innovative solutions to DoD clients focused on increasing energy resilience to support the mission. Build collaborative relationships, engage with stakeholders to promote their initiatives, analyze policy decisions, and foster a culture of energy awareness. Provide a range of communications solutions to help clients meet their communications challenges, including strategic communications plans, awareness campaigns, media outreach, event planning, leadership messaging, stakeholder outreach, Web development, collateral development, and social media. Demonstrate expertise in writing for a variety of mediums, including speeches, Microsoft PowerPoint presentations, official correspondence, fact sheets, Web content, and blog posts. Support day-to-day communications tasks, including media outreach, contact with database management, in-person client briefings, media tracking, Web and social media updates, and collateral development. Develop relationships across teams to research content, facilitate cross-team collaboration, and identify emerging communications opportunities. This position is located in Arlington, VA.
Basic Qualifications:
4+ years of experience with performing strategic communications
Experience in working with the DoD
Experience with developing an overarching communications strategy for an office or organization
Experience with technical editing and writing
Ability to work independently and in teams and interact with senior-level clients
Ability to obtain a security clearance
Bachelor's degree
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with government consulting or contracting
Experience with energy issues
Experience with the standards and practices of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA)
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $52,100.00 to $119,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
