As a communications specialist supporting the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), you’ll closely impact the development of creative solutions to complex problems. Your self-guided yet collaborative spirit will build and nurture relationships with team members, stakeholders, and clients to facilitate communicating the agency's mission.
As a collaborator on all aspects of oral and written communications, you’ll create internal and external briefs, talking points, and speeches. Your creative-thinking and business-oriented mindset will guide your client to inform key audiences through words, images, and sound.

You Have:
6+ years of experience with creating slides and electronic media, utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
6+ years of experience with document creation, technical writing, editing, and project coordination
Experience with progress tracking and finalization
Ability to tailor technical content to non technical audiences
Ability to manage multiple workstreams and operate under tight deadlines
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree

Ability to write in explanatory and procedural styles for multiple audiences
Ability to pay strict attention to detail, including technical editing
Ability to work on and track multiple projects and taskings while prioritizing the most urgent or important work
Ability to analyze, interpret, and translate technical ideas into widely comprehensible statements or work with technical staff as required
Possession of excellent oral presentation skills
Possession of excellent prioritization and time management skills
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $73,100.00 to $166,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
