As a communications specialist supporting the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), you’ll closely impact the development of creative solutions to complex problems. Your self-guided yet collaborative spirit will build and nurture relationships with team members, stakeholders, and clients to facilitate communicating the agency's mission.

As a collaborator on all aspects of oral and written communications, you’ll create internal and external briefs, talking points, and speeches. Your creative-thinking and business-oriented mindset will guide your client to inform key audiences through words, images, and sound.

You Have:   

• 6+ years of experience with creating slides and electronic media, utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat

• 6+ years of experience with document creation, technical writing, editing, and project coordination

• Experience with progress tracking and finalization

• Ability to tailor technical content to non technical audiences

• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and operate under tight deadlines

• Secret clearance

• Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:   

• Ability to write in explanatory and procedural styles for multiple audiences

• Ability to pay strict attention to detail, including technical editing

• Ability to work on and track multiple projects and taskings while prioritizing the most urgent or important work

• Ability to analyze, interpret, and translate technical ideas into widely comprehensible statements or work with technical staff as required

• Possession of excellent oral presentation skills

• Possession of excellent prioritization and time management skills
