F-35 Test Engineer

Key Role:

Provide test engineering, technical, and analytical support to a client program office Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and Functional Teams. Define, document, analyze, perform, and interpret fighter aircraft developmental and operational flight tests for new or modified products or product components. Investigate and resolve operational problems in conjunction with other engineering and technical personnel while providing technical support and advice to other IPTs. Liaise with outside suppliers in establishing or modifying specifications for purchased items. Analyze and apply testing procedures for parts or sub-assemblies received from outside vendors. Analyze the development, maintenance, and refinement of internal quality control and reliability programs. Lead or direct projects, act in a liaison capacity with other departments, divisions, and organizations, evaluate progress and results, and recommend major changes in procedures, as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years of experience in an engineering or technical role

-3+ years of experience with a flight test program, including developmental, or operational

-Experience with technical project management

-Experience with Microsoft Office products, including using spreadsheet programs and relational databases, such as Microsoft Excel and Access at the user level

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree
