As a Helpdesk Systems Administrator, you’ll have the chance to build your skills and solve technical problems in a fast-paced and Agile environment. We’re looking for a Helpdesk Systems Administrator working within classified environments with a solid background in windows operating systems to provide in-depth support and lead problem solving and implementation efforts for specific software and hardware for customers in support of mission critical applications. Work as part of a dynamic team to manage service offerings, ticketing, provide troubleshooting experience, and document best practices. In addition to supporting the Helpdesk, you will support various projects to include assisting with installation design, recommend purchases, and install new cabling, equipment, and associated hardware and software to extend and enhance existing services. Troubleshoot and assist with software and hardware problems for domain users and assist with maintaining the configuration baseline for workstations.

You Have:
Experience providing IT customer support including software installation, hardware troubleshooting, and ticket management
Knowledge of Windows and Unix operating systems
Ability to provide excellent interpersonal interactions with executive clients
Ability to manage user accounts, OU’s, and services accounts
TS/SCI clearance
HS diploma or GED and 5+ years of experience in Helpdesk or Systems Administration, Associate’s degree and 4+ years of experience in Helpdesk or Systems Administration, or Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience in Helpdesk or Systems Administration
DoD 8570 IAT II Certification or higher, such as Security+
Nice If You Have:
Experience with VMware hypervisor environment and managing virtual machines
Knowledge of government wide system design
Ability to author, interpret, and analyze technical documentation
Bachelor's degree
Microsoft Certified Information Technology Professional Certification
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,400.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
