Infrastructure Engineer SME

Key Role:
Assist with implementing and supporting hardware, software, and telephony systems that provide the infrastructure for Customer Support. Apply advanced consulting and extensive technical expertise and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems.

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Experience with designing and configuring cloud architecture, configuring cloud integration efforts, and implementing plans for hosting complex application workloads 

  • Knowledge of developing and maintaining systems configurations and executing administration and operational duties on computer systems while maintaining data and information

  • Ability to act as technical liaison between operations team, engineers, and architects and provide critical operational insight to upcoming implementations and strategies, including validation of ongoing solutions supportability 

  • TS/SCI clearance 

  • Master’s degree and 15+ years of experience as an infrastructure specialist or 35+ years of experience as an infrastructure specialist in lieu of a degree

Additional Qualifications: 

  • Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), Data-as-a-Service (DaaS), ISR as-a-Service, Cross Domain implementation, Cloud implementations, including Enterprise-Public, Private, and Hybrid and on-prem instances, and Applications and Systems Security Assessment and Authorization environments 

  • Knowledge of IP-Based communications, including Wide Area and Local Area Networking, National-to-Tactical Systems relationships, and access and use of Data-at-Rest and In-motion 

  • Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies 

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $93,300.00 to $212,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
