As a Joint Capabilities Analyst, you’ll bring your extensive experience leading complex projects and diverse teams in a Joint Staff or Combatant Command staffs. You'll combine operational experience with technical expertise using a wide variety of traditional and emerging analytic tools and techniques to underpin and enable leadership decisions in a constantly changing global environment. You’ll introduce quantitative and qualitative analysis, data analytics, and data science to the military’s decision-making and institutional processes by developing and applying probability models, statistical inference, simulations, optimization, data analysis, and data visualization. You’ll be a trusted advisor to our clients, and we’ll look to you to apply advanced consulting skills to inform senior leader decision-making and develop innovative Joint Force development solutions to Joint warfighting challenges.

You Have:
- 8+ years of experience managing projects, including numerous workstreams requiring adjustment of shifting priorities, and solving problems quickly
- 5+ years of experience leading data analytics or operations research, including development of dynamic model and simulation tools
- Experience managing executive-level communications, reports, and development of programmatic strategies and plans
- Experience managing and structuring data, presenting data visually with charts and infographics, creating reports, and using Microsoft Office programs, including Excel and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of DoD mission modeling and campaign modeling, and widely used tools and methods for repeatable, traceable, and streamlined analyses
- Ability to translate client program requirements and needs into program management outcomes
- Ability to assign tasks to on-site team members and apply qualitative assessment and quantitative analysis techniques
- Ability to integrate data from multiple sources and systems, organize data for ease of access, and communicate complex ideas and analysis to different audiences, including senior executives
- Top Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
- 15+ years of experience producing analysis and decision support products to underpin critical decisions by leaders at the tactical, operational, and strategic levels of the Joint Force
- 10+ years of experience with data analytics or operations research
- 8+ years of experience as an Operations Research and Systems Analyst (ORSA) supporting Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE)
- Experience with Joint Staff Operations Research and Systems Analysis
- Knowledge of Joint Force development, design, concept, or capability development
- Knowledge of DoD Architectural Framework
- Master’s degree in Operations Research, Data Science, Mathematics, or Statistics
- Defense Acquisition Certification
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $110,100.00 to $250,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
