Naval Aviation Analyst, Mid

Key Role:

Act as a key technical expert on financial analysis issues, concerns, and special projects. Interface with top management, respond to their requests for financial data, and resolve report and compliance issues. Prepare special reports and financial studies for management and alert them to significant variances to plan. Coordinate, negotiate, and resolve financial compliance issues with various governmental agencies to ensure accurate interpretation. Conduct and lead audits and provide work leadership for junior employees.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience performing data analytics requirements in complex and technically demanding project or task environments

  • Experience with responding to complex problems and frequent excursion requests from senior leadership

  • Experience querying, compiling data from various databases

  • Experience with advance Excel functions

  • Experience using visualization tools, including Tableau and Qlik, and ADVANA tools including Databricks

  • Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite including MS SharePoint, Power BI, Excel and Access

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience as a commissioned Officer, senior enlisted, or senior-level DoD government

  • Experience with Naval Aviation

  • Experience with Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process

  • Knowledge of Program and Budget Information System (PBIS), Visibility and Management of Operating and Support Costs (VAMOSC) budgeting tools

  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills, specifically to senior military officers

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,400.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
