Operations Research Analyst, Lead

Key Role:

Work individually and collaboratively to perform quantitative decision support analysis on defense programmatic issues, concepts of operations, system performance, and system concepts of employment. Serve as a senior warfighting analyst responsible for developing and executing analytical models and methods that support warfighting analyses from the engagement through campaign-levels. Develop campaign-level representations, databases, and analyses of US, allied, and adversary forces executing warfighting concepts of operation. Advise other operations research analysts, scientists, or engineers on techniques best suited for tasked problems.

Basic Qualifications:
-10+ years of experience with agent-based modeling, discrete event simulation, systems dynamics, optimization methods, and network modeling and analysis

-2+ years of experience with one or more of the following: R, Python, SQL, or C/C++

-2+ years of experience with probability and stochastic processes

-Active TS/SCI clearance

-BA or BS degree and 14+ years of experience with analytical work, MA or MS degree and 8+ years of experience with analytical work, or PhD and 5+ years of experience with analytical work


Additional Qualifications: 

-Experience in the defense industry preferred

-Experience with Linux and UNIX-like operating systems
-Experience with machine learning and advanced statistical techniques

-Experience with designing simulations or wargames

-Ability to be creative and generate out-of-the-box solutions
