Project Management Analyst

The Opportunity:

Are you searching for a position where you can use your project management and analysis skills to develop a project from concept to completion? A program requires a significant investment of limited resources. With that level of complexity, you need to keep the project on a productive path. That’s why we need you, a skilled program management specialist who can ensure success through careful analysis and effective communication.

You will apply project management best practices to support a DoD Program Management Office with managing process improvements, staff and schedule trackers, program governance, and identifying process automation strategies to improve effectiveness and efficiency. You will support the development of program and process documentation and reporting as well as tasks that inform program leadership and senior executives in the DoD chain of command. You will work with government activities and contractor personnel to meet project milestones and minimize risk while identifying issues and developing recommendations for issue resolution for program and client leadership.

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience with DoD or civilian project management and continuous project improvement in an Information Technology environment
  • Experience with managing project schedules and task tracking in MS Project or Atlassian JIRA
  • Experience with the analysis, preparation, and presentation of complex data
  • Experience with collecting and synthesizing details of program staff activities into succinct reports and presentations
  • Experience with using or implementing Agile project management methodologies
  • Ability to communicate with multiple stakeholders melding a process driven approach with people driven considerations
  • Ability to provide innovative solutions to program and client challenges in an environment of shifting priorities and establish and maintain effective working relationships
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience as a project manager overseeing the deployment of cloud systems for DoD and IC clients
  • Ability to be a self-starter and work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Possession of excellent program management, organizational, time management, prioritization, data management, creative thinking, and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • ITIL Certification
  • Agile or Scrum Master Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $73,100.00 to $166,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
