Job Description
The Opportunity:
To ensure operable, interoperable, and continuity of emergency communications, our clients need help in enhancing the ability of responders to manage routine incidents and support responses to natural disasters, acts of terrorism, and other incidents. As new technologies emerge, our nation’s emergency communications networks are becoming more susceptible to cyber threats. We are looking for an individual that has experience as a first responder or working with first responder communications to serve as part of Booz Allen's team supporting a client's federal, state, local, and tribal emergency communications coordination mission.
On the team, you’ll apply experience working with first responders and public safety communications systems and equipment, along with consulting expertise and cybersecurity knowledge to help lead discussions with clients and stakeholders, define project requirements, facilitate data collection and analyses, help develop client solutions, support studies and meetings, provide technical support to pilot projects as needed, and document and compile notes. You’ll apply your verbal and written communications expertise to develop project deliverables, including written reports and briefing slides, and support technical assessments of public safety communications technologies in the emergency communications ecosystem with a focus on cybersecurity. You’ll draft reports on critical aspects of emergency communications technology such as operability, interoperability, resiliency, cybersecurity, or maturity.
