Radio Frequency Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Consultant

Key Role:

Serve as a strategic consultant for high-risk government research and development (R&D) programs in the areas of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) for radio frequency (RF) applications. Work with world-class scientists and engineers in driving forward research efforts for cutting-edge technologies at an agency funding advanced research projects. Maintain and leverage technical expertise and relationships in serving clients. Provide technical management support and strategic assessments of new technologies in support of senior decision-makers while evaluating the feasibility of and potential applications for new concepts. Produce and present findings and recommendations to a team of colleagues and clients, assist with technical program management and development, and brief materials out for government R&D efforts.

Basic Qualifications:

-2+ years of experience using AI and ML techniques for RF, software-defined radio (SDR), or communications applications

-Experience with common tools, including GNU Radio, Matlab, or TensorFlow

-Ability to be self-motivated and work in a fast-paced environment

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-MS degree in Engineering or Science

Additional Qualifications:

-2+ years of experience with authoring technical papers, reports, or program plans for technical and non-technical audiences

-Experience with implementing AI and ML techniques using RF hardware

-Experience in technical project or program management

-Experience with DoD R&D projects

-Knowledge of signal processing with respect to communications applications

-Knowledge of multiple physics and engineering disciplines a plus

-Ability to stay abreast of current and emerging technologies in support of new concept development

-Possession of excellent client service skills

-Secret clearance preferred

-PhD degree in EE, Computer Engineering, or related fields
