Job Description
Key Role:
Provide executive-level Action Officer and technical support to a front office of the client and its senior leadership. Advise on and systematically develop high-risk, high-reward R&D strategy in the context of national security and dual-use. Support the successful design and execution of broadly biological R&D programs. Work closely with a high-performing, fast-paced team to support government clients. Perform tasks in a variety of areas, including liaising with key internal and external stakeholders, coordinating meetings, generating and consolidating briefing materials, and performing administrative tasks, as needed. Design and facilitate institutional partnerships with government, commercial, and academic entities. Coordinate Front Office supporting staff and processes for efficiency, clarity, and resilience. Support special projects for the team.
Basic Qualifications:
2+ years of experience with research in biology
2+ years of experience with providing and developing strategy documents and executive-level strategic support
Experience with authoring technical papers, reports, or strategy documents for both technical and non-technical audiences
Ability to obtain a security clearance
HS diploma or GED
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with defense research and development programs
Ability to coordinate engagement meetings with a broad stakeholder audience
Ability to explain and present complex scientific concepts to a broad audience
Possession of excellent scientific writing skills
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
Possession of excellent data gathering, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Secret clearance
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $65,300.00 to $149,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
