As a scrum master, you’re passionate about outcomes and supporting a development team that’s securing critical projects. You know the importance of Agile best practices and how to combat challenges early to achieve meaningful project goals while caring for the stakeholder. We need a seasoned scrum master like you to create solutions that’ll change the course of software development.
As a leader on our team, you’ll coach a development team to achieve its highest performance level, while ensuring the scrum project is successfully progressed. You’ll work on unusually complex problems, introduce leading-edge concepts, and provide highly innovative solutions to your team and key stakeholders.
You’ll move quickly in an exciting and fluid environment to lead the Agile development of a project roadmap, establish project milestones, and implement metrics to track progress, while bringing people together to make a tangible difference. You’ll introduce leading-edge concepts and provide highly innovative solutions to your team and key stakeholders. You’ll guide your team and strengthen sustainable process improvements to help them solve unusually complex problems. You Have:
Experience as an Agile project manager serving multiple teams and providing tasking and prioritization
Experience with Agile software project management tools, including Atlassian Jira, Atlassian Confluence, GitHub, Microsoft Planner, and Mural
Knowledge of budget tracking and management
Ability to coach a team to better outcomes using process improvement
Ability to support the Product Owner with maintaining product backlogs
Ability to obtain a security clearance
Associate's degree and 7+ years of experience as a Scrum Master supporting a development team’s function, Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master supporting a development team’s function, or 9+ years of experience as a Scrum Master supporting a development team’s function in lieu of a degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience with meeting client needs, analyzing use cases, and presenting solutions to clients
Knowledge of corporate training and talent development
Ability to communicate with senior leaders across multiple business sectors
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
Possession of excellent time management skills
Master's degree
CAPM, PMP, or a related Project Management Certification
SAFe 5.1 SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) Certification
PMI-ACP, A-CSM, CSP-SM, PSM II, PSM III, SASM, RTE, or a advanced Scrum Master or Agile Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
