As an operations expert on our team, you will work with Booz Allen colleagues and the U.S. Space Force to develop and apply advanced consulting skills, extensive technical expertise, and industry knowledge. Your customer will trust you to test, analyze, evaluate, validate, and verify processes. They’ll also need you to use your broad knowledge of potential sources of new innovation to identify areas requiring mitigation up front to plan, develop, and refine for use in future missions. You will influence senior clients on current and future operations as well strategic direction for the U.S. Space Force. You will collaborate in a Joint military environment to synchronize, integrate, and implement innovative solutions.

You Have:  

  • 10+ years of experience working with the Joint Staff, Combatant Command, U.S. Military HQ Service staff, or Major Command Staff

  • 10+ years of experience evaluating DoD, AFSPC, or SMC space systems

  • Knowledge of DoD space control systems and architectural analysis

  • Knowledge of Defense Space Strategy and National Security Space Strategy in the areas of requirements, capabilities, analysis, architectures, programs, acquisition, and operations

  • Ability to plan, organize, lead, and execute studies or projects and present results to senior leadership

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have:  

  • Experience with operations or policy on processes and agreements that support international integration into exercises and wargames, and memorandums of understanding that advance Space technology security cooperation

  • Knowledge of security and international partner cooperation in the U.S. Military context

  • Knowledge of civil, commercial, and international space capabilities and architectures

  • Knowledge of TMT or other HQ staffing tools

  • Ability to facilitate functional meetings with senior military staff and civilian counterparts

  • Possession of excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentations and executive writing

  • Master’s degree in a related field, such as Space Operations

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
