In your role, you will be part of an elite team, working with some of the most brilliant PMs, performers, and world class commercial advisors, venture, and private investors, on behalf of the Director’s Office (DIRO), to accelerate the commercialization of some of the most important technologies to advance the client’s mission and pose and prevent technological surprise.
What You’ll Do:
As a business analytics consultant on our team, you’ll:
- Develop, design, and maintain high end performance real-time dashboards for decision making.
- Develop, automate, and integrate data records, including CSV, pivot, and other data files with automating team processes, including working with an IT team, to improve data quality and data consistency.
- Develop, design, and maintain financial and business dashboards for team members and leadership for portfolio management and allocation, financial and business reporting for operational excellence, and developing reports for DIRO, Congress, and other stakeholders.
- Analyze, summarize, and communicate the business and financial content of financial investors for DoD science and engineer “lay” audiences quickly and effectively.
- Develop data sharing systems with existing IT system integration for economic NIST performance studies and for data-sharing, including compliance and analytics with R&E, including the Office of Strategic Capital (OSC).
- Leverage best practices, efficiencies, and team adoption of utilizing dashboards with quality data to measure performance, improve operations, and engage with private sector investors.
- Responsible for data QA or data processes, including communicating or training of new team members.

You Have:
- 8+ years of experience working in a professional environment
- 7+ years of experience with BI tools such as Tableau, for building, maintaining, and providing dashboards
- 7+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel functions such as macros and pivot tables
- 5+ years of experience working in a venture backed start-up building and deploying business and financial dashboards for a variety of customers and investors, and working as a business and financial analyst in a top Accelerator or Venture Fund
- 5+ years of experience with data source identification or analysis as well as data extracting, manipulation, and compilation
- Ability to be team-oriented, provide a service-based mind-set, and understand the entrepreneurial community with diverse technical and business backgrounds and expertise
- Ability to be a self-starter and work successfully in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to take the lead and provide support as a member of a complex, fast-paced, and cross-disciplinary team
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $93,300.00 to $212,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
