The Opportunity: 

As a cyber mission specialist, you understand the value of hunt-forward operations, and you know that battles are won in the grey. At Booz Allen, you can use your cyberspace operations experience to create solutions that will be executed on a worldwide stage. We’re looking for a cyber mission specialist like you to apply your experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF) audits and the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) to a fast-paced DoD organization.

In this role, you’ll work as an RMF audit and eMASS support analyst, including performing eMASS system administration duties, including account management, creation, deletion, reactivation, and permission changes, RMF package management, workflow process management, and Plan of Action and Milestone (POA&M) reviews.

This is an opportunity to use your research and analysis abilities in the development of FISMA scorecards to show compliance ratings for various metrics and track the completeness of annual NIST 800-53 requirements. Interface with senior leaders, brief status reports, and create process documentation to support a Cybersecurity program.

You Have:   

  • 3+ years of experience working in a Risk Management Framework DoD field
  • Experience with distributing Authorized Services Interruptions (ASI) to the DoD RMF community via email
  • Ability to update, maintain, and post to a Government Risk Compliance (GRC) application, including documenting all processes and procedures associated with the day-to-day duties of maintaining and managing GRC accounts
  • Ability to document step-by-step procedures or process guides for the account approval process, including assigning permissions to groups, reactivating accounts due to inactivity, ASI notifications, account maintenance and cleanup, and guidelines for pushing packages to responsible authorities certification
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Cybersecurity IAT II Certification

Nice If You Have:   

  • Experience with lookup tables and eMASS communication, including external inheritance relationships and eMASS e-mails, cleaning up accounts that have not been accessed within 180+ calendar days, and deactivation of accounts
  • Experience with package management tasks of control review, POA&M reviews of all control and system level weaknesses and associated milestones, uploading supporting documentation to the appropriate package, and package approvals or return for re-work
  • TS/SCI clearance preferred

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
