Job Description
Key Role:
Support the federal government for the Data Modernization Initiative (DMI) on the Data Modernization Accelerator (DMAC) contract as a Health Informatics and Technology Expert to provide oversight to application or platform development efforts. Work with team to stay on target with client requirements and activities to execute against project objectives by ensuring coordination with necessary stakeholders. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems by evaluating and managing technical projects in imaging and the integration of that capability. Coordinate and support various meetings to align with the execution of the project requirements and applies advanced consulting skills and extensive technical expertise with full industry knowledge. Work without considerable direction and mentor and may supervise team members.
Basic Qualifications:
12+ years of experience working in a public health environment
Experience working independently designing and developing new software products or major enhancements to existing healthcare or clinical software
Experience addressing problems of systems integration, compatibility, healthcare semantics, informatics and multiple platforms
Experience managing Information Technology projects
Experience in life cycle and project management methodologies
Ability to perform feasibility analysis on future projects
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare IT, Computer Science, or Engineering
Additional Qualifications:
Experience supporting the federal government
Experience with electronic health records
Vetting:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
