The Opportunity:

We’re looking for a knowledge manager (KM) who can assist our client in sharing knowledge to ensure access to the critical information for an enterprise-wide analytics platform and provide expertise in supporting, implementing, and managing KM initiatives for our federal health clients.  

As a knowledge manager on our team, you’ll train and maintain front-end support for KM sites, make recommendations, and execute KM strategies, plans, processes, tools, assessments, and meeting management practices for a Microsoft Azure cloud-based analytics platform. You will share release updates, technical design information, documentation, and provide subject matter expertise for training and communication requirements.   

You will assist with the development of KM roadmaps to improve the client's business operations and facilitate the sharing and leveraging of best business practices from the KM community.

You Have:  

·       6+ years of experience in a professional knowledge management work environment 

·       Experience with leading a team of technical writers, designers, or developers 

·       Experience with developing technical manuals, procedures, or user guides

·       Experience with developing and maintaining SharePoint, Service Now, Confluence, or Strapi site collections

·       Experience with using Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge management fundamentals and tools

·       Experience with developing and implementing content strategy and information architecture

·       Knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, including tools associated with compute, storage, networking, data analysis, and visualization services

·       Ability to learn new Azure services and remain current with the latest Azure products

·       Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements

·       Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:  

·       Experience in liaising with data architects, administrators, analysts, developers, and subject matter experts

·       Experience with migrating knowledge management systems

·       Experience with working as a technical writer or editor in a technology or IT field

·       Experience with content management systems

·       Experience with working in an Agile environment

·       Experience with compiling reports on performance and usage metrics

·       Ability to communicate technical information in written and verbal formats to non-technical audiences

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $73,000.00 to $166,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
