Key Role:

Support the development and maintenance of scalable data stores that supply big data in forms needed for business analysis. Apply basic principles, theories, and concepts and limited industry knowledge. Solve routine problems of limited scope and complexity and refer more complex issues to higher levels. Works under direct supervision.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with SQL to conduct complex database queries

-Experience with Python, R, Java, Scala, JavaScript, or other programming language

-Experience with building data pipelines, migrating data between systems, or formats

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-Scheduled to obtain a BA or BS degree in a technical field by June 2021

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with Agile software development

-Experience in cloud environments and with cloud native data tools

-Experience with parsing, aggregating, and cleaning data in a variety of formats, including SQL, Parquet, ORC, XML, or JSON

-Experience with implementing the ingestion, transformation, and loading of data

-Experience with Hadoop, Hive, or NiFi

-Experience with extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes

-Experience with configuring and aggregating logs for data analysis using Splunk or ELK solutions

-Secret clearance
