Enterprise Architect, Senior

Key Role:

Serve as a senior strategic enterprise architect responsible for architecture, design and development of information integration. Bridge strategic vision and technical constraints to create transformational solutions and work with technical leads directly to devise and implement a robust architecture. Provide consultation and strategic guidance to enterprise architects, program managers, and other senior technical staff to help shape IT strategy and direction for large and complex IT systems. Analyze the development of enterprise architecture (EA) products, including current EA, target EA, an enterprise transition plan, an enterprise standards profile, EA technical guidance, design patterns, and technology roadmaps. Lead a team of data architects and systems architects.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture (EA) or as an architect in a functional or technical area

  • Experience with IT architecture analysis, evaluation, documentation, IT architecture modeling, design, development, model validation, and integration in a DoD environment

  • Experience with data modeling, including conceptual and logical

  • Experience with developing project roadmaps and plans

  • Experience with translating customer requirements into a conceptual or solutions model and validating those models in a DoD environment

  • Experience with reviewing enterprise and data architecture artifacts, deliverables, and processes to ensure adherence to quality standards

  • Experience with an architecture modeling tool, such as Unicom

  • Knowledge of Business Process Modeling Notion (BPMN) process modeling

  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with erwin data modeler

  • Experience with developing presentations and briefings to address inquiries and topics of interest to client

  • Experience with both technical and business architecture

  • Experience with developing architectures at varying levels, including enterprise, segment, and solution architectures

  • Knowledge of DoD business transformation and processes, and DoD organizational structure

  • Knowledge of DoD Architecture Framework (DODAF), Business Enterprise Architecture (BEA) and Enterprise Transition Plans, Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and AF Logistics systems

  • Ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence and be flexible to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change

  • Possession of excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills

  • Secret clearance

  • Enterprise Architecture Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
