Wireless RF Engineer, Lead

Key Role:

Serve as a senior technical engineer to architect, designer, and engineer with customers and management on all aspects of wireless and RF communications. Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts; contributes to the development of new principles and concepts to wireless and satcom networks using the latest and emerging technologies to include 5g. Work on a team developing innovative solutions to challenging cosite environments, in ground, airborne and mobile use cases in a military focused environment.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in cosite and cosite measurements
  • Experience with receiver technology, including noise figure, gain, noise floor, intercept points, or intermodulation
  • Experience with design antenna concepts including gain, impedance matching, antenna arrays, or active and passive antennas
  • Experience with RF test equipment, including Network Analyzers, or Spectrum Analyzers
  • Experience tracking down noise and noise artifacts
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience development of system, interface and detailed requirements and designs using Model Based System Engineering tools
  • Experience with FEKO, ANSYS suite, or equivalent
  • Experience with MATLAB
  • Experience with system calibrations, including RF paths, DF, or BIT
  • Experience with analog and digital audio distribution systems
  • Experience with aerospace communications buses
  • Knowledge of design for military environments and compliance to military standards, including MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-464, MIL-STD-810, or RTCA DO-160
  • Secret clearance preferred; TS/SCI clearance a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in EMC or RF Engineering and 5+ years of experience in the aircraft/aerospace industry, commercial or military preferred; Master’s degree and 3+ years of experience in the aircraft/aerospace industry, commercial or military a plus
