Master Data Management Developer and Architect, Lead

Key Role:

Serve as a Master Data Management (MDM) specialist with expertise in Informatica products. Design, implement, and manage technical design modules to integrate the Informatica MDM hub and Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) tools with frontend applications and services. Assist by leveraging expertise in database design and implementation tools, focusing on MDM, data quality, data governance, and business intelligence. Design data services and integrate with MDM composite service framework and perform capacity and stability monitoring. Work with structured and unstructured data, streaming and batch data processing, extract, transform, load (ETL), data wrangling, data ingest, and data access. Assist with platform metrics collection, reporting, ETL integrations, implementations, and migrations, and scheduling and monitoring jobs. Perform root cause analysis for job failures and missed data loads and provide server and database administrators with support for performance tuning. Participate in data quality initiatives to profile and cleanse data prior to loading into the Informatica MDM platform. Install and configure the software tool, including hotfixes and upgrades.

Basic Qualifications:

-8+ years of experience with software engineering in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

-5+ years of experience with designing and implementation of Informatica Master Data Management (MDM) solutions

-5+ years of experience with data modeling, schema configuration, match and merge, trust setup, SIF framework, Business Entity Services (BES), Active VOS, and user exits

-3+ years of experience with real time and near-real time integration and batch data processing

-3+ years of experience with match rule tuning

-3+ years of experience with PL/SQL, SQL, or Shell scripting

-Experience with RDBMS data stores, including Oracle or MySQL

-Ability to perform Informatica tools upgrades and patching

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with large-scale, distributed systems design and development

-Experience with multiple data modeling concepts, including XML or JSON

-Knowledge of scaling, performance, and scheduling

-Knowledge of system architecture, including process, memory, storage, and networking management

-Knowledge of RESTful services design, development, and testing

-Ability to demonstrate technical solutions, standards, and best practices with multiple functional groups

-Possession of excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

-Public Trust

-Master's degree in a technical field

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $93,300.00 to $212,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
