Job Description
Key Role:
Monitor evolving logistics capabilities to determine potential impact on planned operations. Interface with the Future Operations portfolios spanning competition, crisis, and conflict. Maintain responsibility for ensuring logistics equities are understood for all operations. Lead efforts on logistics projects to include Operational Planning Teams (OPTs), data calls, working group participation, and product development.
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience with Lines of Effort that support the Joint Concept for Contested Logistics
- 3+ years of experience with Joint Logistics Operations, planning, or execution
- Knowledge of analytical and evaluative methods for logistics synchronization processes, procedures, logistics data accuracy, quality, logistics feasibility studies, issues, plans, policies, and guidance
- Knowledge of the Joint Strategic Planning System (JSPS)
- Ability to leverage expertise of business management policies, business process analysis methodologies, concepts, practices, and principles employed to fully analyze and develop recommendations for improvement
- Ability to examine “as is” and “to be” conditions and develop multiple logistics branches and sequels designed to achieve success for future Joint Operations
- Ability to travel internationally and work non-standard hours, as needed
- TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor's degree
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience working with Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps planners at the Joint Task Force level or above
- Experience working collaboratively with U.S. Allies and Partners, including support to bi-lateral or multi-lateral military exercises
- Experience with Knowledge Management (KM) processes to coordinate staff positions, facilitate monitoring, assessment, and planning, and advocating change
- Knowledge of sustainment practices of supply Class III, IV, V, or IX
- Knowledge of Joint Campaign, Contingency, and Crisis Action Planning procedures, Joint Doctrine, and Joint Publication
- Ability to work with cross-functional staff integration elements, or frequently referred to as Boards, Bureaus, Centers, Cells, and Working Groups and OPT
- Master's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
