Petroleum Logistics Specialist, Senior

Key Role:

Leverage subject matter expertise in planning and coordinating the receipt, storage, and distribution of petroleum products in the region in coordination with logistics and service components. Design overall petroleum planning for theater-wide requirements, resupply, and distribution in support of combatant command Operations Plan (OPLAN). Validate service component bulk requirements in wartime or during contingency operations. Track and collect key joint petroleum reports, including bulk petroleum contingency reports (REPOL) and bulk petroleum capabilities reports (POLCAP). Support Joint Petroleum Office (JPO) by coordinating, validating, and prioritizing petroleum military construction. Provide petroleum logistic planning and policy analysis to component leaders. Ensure components and energy stakeholders have a robust quality assurance program.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a military or government petroleum logistics professional

  • Experience with Joint Logistics operations and planning

  • Experience with supporting the INDOPACOM AOR

  • Experience with providing petroleum logistics planning and policy guidance, including directing tactical movement of fuels

  • Secret clearance

  • HS Diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with Lines of Effort that support the Joint Concept for Contested Logistics

  • Experience with Joint doctrine, including JP 4-01.6, Joint Logistics Over-The-Shore (JLOTS), JP 4-01.4, Joint Theater Distribution, JP 4-03, and Joint Bulk Petroleum and Water Doctrine

  • Experience with POLCAP and REPOL reports

  • Experience with coordinating across services, agencies, and host nations to ensure fuel requirements, operations, restraints, and constraints are addressed

  • Ability to conduct strategic assessments and brief senior military leaders 

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
