As a technical lead, you know that implementing improved digital initiatives with effective process improvement, thought leadership in implementing technology to address problems, and effective leadership skills are crucial for your client’s future. You’re eager to apply your advanced technical, project management, and consulting experience and Department of Defense knowledge to lead teams in developing creative solutions. We’re looking for someone like you to guide organizations as they solve their traditional business challenges with new digital strategies and solutions.
As a technical lead on our team, you’ll be entrusted to deliver effective, data-driven capabilities to the DoD by applying leading-edge concepts and tools like software and platforms, data management, and process improvement. You’ll orchestrate work across multiple teams that share diverse mission expertise and technical talent. Leveraging Agile methodologies, you’ll define and execute technical requirements to solve complex data challenges for clients within the DoD and federal government. In this role, you’ll directly impact the DoD by examining, analyzing, and implementing the most effective methods, data sources, and technology solutions to inform decision making and facilitate effective Joint U.S. or combined multi-national operations, activities, and investments. You Have:
8+ years of experience leading cross functional teams through the product development lifecycle, including program and client expectation management, assessing user needs, requirements gathering, analysis, curation, and defining scope
3+ years of experience designing, developing, and delivering enterprise software or analytics solutions with multiple data sources or systems integration
3+ years of experience in conducting data engineering and data science with large, disparate data sets using modern technologies including Apache Spark, Apache Kafka, and Databricks
3+ years of experience supporting the DoD
Experience communicating with clients and stakeholders to manage and meet deliverable expectations
Ability to use data visualization tools and code in Python, SQL, or R
Ability to set goals for performance and growth
Top Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree
ICAgile Practitioner Certification
Nice If You Have:
Experience leveraging cloud service providers such as AWS or Azure for data engineering
Experience in the Indo-Pacific AOR
Experience in the Combatant Command or Service Component headquarters level
Possession of excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills
Possession of excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills
TS/SCI clearance
Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
PMP certification
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $93,300.00 to $212,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
