Contracts Administrator, Senior

The Opportunity:

As a contract specialist, you use your sharp negotiation tactics and talent for organization to help manage critical documents. We need you to bring your contract management knowledge to our Other Transaction (OT) National Security team where you’ll be a trusted advisor and a valuable collaborator who finds creative solutions to complex problems.

As a contract administrator on our team, you’ll use your contracts and agreements for OT prototype and follow-on production agreements, including Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)-Based and Non-FAR based negotiation, acquisition, and proposal preparation, and expertise to capture, implement, and manage a diverse range of proposals and contracts within the OT Team. In this role, you’ll touch every element of government acquisition, from beginning stages to completion. You’ll review and analyze solicitations for potential risks, guide suggested proposal strategies, and advise leadership on risk mitigation strategies.

As a trusted business partner, you’ll negotiate and administer contracts with the United States government and large or small prime contractors across a breadth of contract and agreement types. You’ll also use your negotiation, strategizing, risk mitigation, management, organizational, and financial skills to analyze and develop teaming and non-disclosure agreements, organizational Conflict of Interest plans, OT Agreements, and modifications.

You Have:  

  • 5+ years of experience in contract administration, negotiations, and proposal preparation with the U.S. government and a combination of commercial, state, or local government or international clients
  • Experience with fixed-price and cost-reimbursable contracts, including contracts for software development or systems delivery
  • Experience negotiating contracts with industry partners, including non-disclosure, teaming, and subcontract agreements
  • Knowledge of contracting concepts and contract acquisition laws and regulations
  • Ability to support complex contract activity that requires the development of specialized contract vehicles and techniques to accomplish business goals and objectives
  • Ability to draft moderate to complex non-routine contractual instruments, and provide training to firm account teams on the unique characteristics of OTs
  • Ability to use independent judgment and creativity to resolve contractual issues
  • Ability to develop customer relationships with internal and external customers
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:  

  • Experience with OT agreements
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Master's degree
  • NCMA Professional Certification, including CPCM, CFCM, CCCM, or CCMA Certifications

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $73,100.00 to $166,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
