As a cyber threat specialist on our team, you’ll lead a team to help customers solve problems using the latest software. Using vulnerability assessments, risk assessments, and threat monitoring, you’ll work alongside multiple stakeholders to evaluate risk and make meaningful recommendations. You’ll oversee the monitoring of security environments and identify security gaps through the eyes of an adversary. 

In this role, you’ll impact national security by monitoring the network environment for new and evolving threats. You will lead cyber architecture programs within Customer Organization for both infrastructure and applications in the latest generation of C2E. Responsible for designing and implementing security measures protecting Customer data as it traverses on -premise, cloud and end other environments. Collaborate with cross functional teams to implement cyber strategies to improve the software supply chain integrity and reduce technical debt by deprecating systems leveraging end-of-life technology. Implement the strategic direction defined by the Customer's Technical Director and lead evaluations, analysis, troubleshooting and guidance related to system, network, application and security architectures. Create security guidance, best practices and general security SOPs and reference architectures. Perform threat modeling by analyzing security events and incidents to improve technical maturity and rigor. Leverage skill independently by conducting technical analysis of security and business problem sets, including threats, incidents, investigations, asset inventory, IT hygiene, and vulnerability management.

You Have: 

  • Experience with evaluating, designing, implementing, optimizing, and documenting a comprehensive and extensive array of security technologies and processes 
  • Experience with performing threat modelling and design reviews to evaluate the introduction of new technologies' security implications and requirements
  • Experience across various enterprise solutions and technology stacks, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS
  • Knowledge of cyber security principles and their application, cloud, networking, or enterprise architectures
  • Knowledge of enterprise application software, including architecture, development, support, and troubleshooting
  • Ability to provide guidance to diverse stakeholders and external vendors
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:  

  • Experience with containerization technology, including Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with an array of large enterprise and US Government IT operations, service delivery, and defensive cyber operations (DCO)
  • Knowledge of industry regulatory and compliance requirements, including FedRAMP, PCI-DCSS, NIST, or HIPAA
  • Knowledge of Open Security Architecture (OSA), Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) and Well Architected Frameworks
  • Master's degree
  • CISSP or CISM Certification

Clearance: 
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $93,300.00 to $212,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
