Instructional Designer, Mid

Key Role:

Implement and evaluate an organization's learning courses and programs. Apply advanced consulting skills, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction. Mentor and supervise team members.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience with creating high-quality, interactive, and effective learning solutions for classroom, web-based, or webinar delivery

  • 1+ years of experience with instructional strategy, instruction, or design methodologies for adult learners

  • Experience with supporting the federal, public, or private sector

  • Experience with technical editing, grammar, and writing

  • Experience with learning theory and instructional technologies

  • Experience with using Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or eLearning development software

  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

  • Bachelor’s degree

​Additional Qualification:

  • Experience with eLearning technologies, including webinar platforms, LMS, or low-code, no-code platforms

  • Knowledge of evaluation models, including Kirkpatrick

  • Knowledge of how instructional strategy integrates with change management to support organization mission

  • Possession of excellent verbal and written and communication skills

  • Master’s degree in Instructional Design or Instructional Technology

  • Instructional Design, User Experience, or Human-Centered Design Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $49,800.00 to $102,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
