The Opportunity:

Are you searching for a position where you can use your project scheduling and analysis skills to develop a project from concept to completion? A program requires a significant investment of limited resources. With that level of complexity, you need to keep the project on a productive path. That’s why we need you, a project scheduling specialist who can help ensure success through careful analysis and effective communication. 

On our team, you’ll design and maintain an integrated master schedule in support of a cloud-based platform and application software development program in the national security space sector. You will use tools like Microsoft Project and Atlassian Jira, along with regular interactions with program managers, client representatives, scrum masters, and systems engineers working on development of a mission-critical satellite ground system. You will monitor and forecast program execution to help ensure our team meets key milestones and schedule objectives to keep an ever-changing enterprise of satellite ground system development teams on track.

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience building, analyzing, and managing schedules in schedule management systems, such as Microsoft Project

  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Office suite 

  • Knowledge of Agile project management approaches 

  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam

  • Bachelor’s degree or 10+ years of experience with integrated scheduling or major program management

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience creating and managing project schedules for teams using an Agile development approach 

  • Experience integrating and sharing schedule data between Microsoft Project and Jira environments 

  • PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI) or PMP Certification 

Clearance:  

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
