We’re looking for a software developer like you to develop efficient and effective software, from vision to production-ready system, in an exciting, agile environment.  

As an experienced software developer at Booz Allen, you’ll use the latest architectural approaches and open-source frameworks and resources to overcome your clients’ most difficult challenges. You’ll use your passion to master new tools and techniques while helping to identify and implement system improvements. You’ll code and deliver solutions that support the current architecture and operating environment, as well as oversee future functionality and enhancements.

You Have: 

  • 5+ years of experience with full stack development, including analysis, designing, developing, debugging, troubleshooting, and testing web applications
  • Experience with ASP.NET Framework version 4.x or above and C#
  • Experience with model-view-controller (MVC) frameworks
  • Experience designing and maintaining user interfaces (UI) with HTML, JavaScript, or CSS
  • Experience developing and maintaining data in relational databases, including in SQL Stored Procedures, Functions, performance tuning, and PLSQL
  • Experience with AWS Cloud technologies
  • Experience deploying web applications in a production environment using Internet Information Services
  • Experience with SVN, TFS, Git, or GitHub
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have: 

  • Experience with Java, Python, React, Angular, or PHP 
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform 
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Windows Server, or Microsoft SQL Server  
  • Experience working with JavaScript libraries such as jQuery, vue.js, Node.JS, vutify.js, Chart.js, or Bootstrap preferred
  • Experience with Telerik controls UI Ajax or Kendo UI preferred
  • Knowledge of PostgreSQL, performance tuning, and optimization a plus
  • Knowledge of DevOps, continuous integration, and continuous deployment, and shell scripting and automation 
  • Knowledge of relational databases (RDMS), NoSQL, columnar, and graph data stores and structured and unstructured data formats
  • Ability to develop detailed program specifications and programs for software components
  • AWS Certified Developer certification preferred

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
