Job Description
Key Role:
Oversee securing systems during major project milestones and interpret requirements levied by Risk Management Framework (RMF) Approval authorities to develop the required strategy and deliverables to accomplish organization missions. Work independently and provide recommendations to the Information System Security Manager (ISSM) and Program Manager (PM) by applying RMF expertise and associated actions supporting the DoD. Support the Project PM and ISSM to develop project requirements and plans to ensure project success. Manage Naval RMF efforts for DoD customers. Work collaboratively with IT Engineers and System Administrators to conduct Cyber Security (CS) analysis, mitigation, remediation, and monitoring to ensure compliance with DoD and Department of the Navy (DON) policies, procedures, and regulations. Perform all activities associated with obtaining and maintaining RMF Authorities to Operate (ATO) for systems within the customer’s multi-faceted network infrastructure, spanning multiple platforms residing on multiple security enclaves.
Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of experience working with IT systems and support
3+ years of experience with Assessment and Authorization (A&A) responsibilities, including cybersecurity engineering, Information System Security Officer (ISSO), ISSM, policy analysis, control testing, POA&M management, and configuration management
Experience working with DoD Information Assurance tools, including eMASS and ACAS
Experience working with security engineers to review compliance scans
Experience with performing cybersecurity assessments using standards, including CIS Benchmarks or DoD STIGS
Ability to obtain a security clearance
HS diploma or GED
DoD 8570 IAT Level II or Security+ Certification
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with performing RMF activities supporting the DON
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Information Security, Data Science, Analytics, Physics, or Math
Operating System Certification, including Linux and Windows Certification
Navy Qualified Validator Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,300.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
