The Opportunity:

As a scrum master, you’re passionate about outcomes and supporting a development team. You know the importance of Agile best practices and how to combat challenges early to get work done. We need an experienced scrum master like you to create solutions.

On our team, you’ll coach a development team to their highest performance level, while ensuring the scrum project is successfully progressed. You’ll ensure scrum principles and approaches are understood correctly by the team and key stakeholders. Using tools like JIRA and Confluence, you’ll strengthen sustainable process improvements.

You Have:  

  • 8+ years of experience as a scrum master, including managing backlog, fostering self-organized and collaborative scrum teams, managing engineering support for all processes and activities of an agile software development team, solving impediments, or helping to seek resolutions
  • 5+ years of experience as a technical or software project manager
  • Knowledge of improving scrum processes
  • Ability to train other scrum masters in agile best practices
  • Ability to manage high-impact, long duration engineering initiatives ensuring achievement of engineering plan and sprint goals and product quality
  • Ability to ensure scrum principles and approaches are understood correctly by the development team and stakeholders to maximize team performance
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Certified Scrum Master Certification  
  • PMP or PMI-ACP certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
